Mike is respectably using his wherewithal from his appearances on the hit primetime show and parlaying his success into creating and executive producing his own content.

Mike Johnson was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He currently resides in. Austin Texas. Since he was young Mike has always been a lover; especially of animals. His love for animals led him to join the United State Military as a veterinarian. During his time serving, he visited over thirty different countries! This man is cultured and well traveled which further explains his ability to positively connect with everyone he encounters. Maybe we can encourage Mike to create a travel guide for us? As mentioned, Mike Johnson showed up on our television screens as a contestant on the dating game show, The Bachelor. Despite being a fan favorite, Mike was eliminated from the show to the dismay of many. Following the disappointment, Fans were happy to see Mike return for a spin off show, Bachelor in Paradise. According to fans, he departed too soon once again. But we are discovering there is always more in store for Mike.

Due to his positive outlook, intelligence and charm, many of his fans just refused to let him fade out of the limelight. In turn, there were several petitions to have Mike named as the first African American bachelor,

Despite the eventual oversight, Mike continues to show appreciation to the Bachelor and the opportunities it yielded, but he has also decided that while it is part of his life, it is not his entire life and there is much more on his horizon.

Mike is the definition of a renaissance man. From modeling and influencing to creating and producing, Mike is penetrating the entertainment business from multiple angles. We recently had a chance to engage with Mike Johnson and conduct this detailed Q&A with the ultra-modern entrepreneur and ask him some of the questions that we, and many of you, have been curious to know.

Editor. Mike, you appear to be in a constant state of gratitude. Can you share with us your philosophy on the power of positivity?

MIKE

The power of positivity is embedded in me from the struggles that I've had to endure and from learning that being a victim, lingering on the negative moments and falling prey to pessimistic tendencies I realized that only keeps you in the dark and having a dark mindset. Laughing only at the downfall of others and keeping company of associates not true loving and growth friendships. When I chose and learned for myself that being positive is so uplifting and can take you further than any negative mindset I chose that route. I wouldn't be able to have your readers look at this article if I chose to be negative in my past. I talk about a few specific examples in my upcoming book.

Editor. How does one achieve such happiness?

MIKE

Perspective is the only way. To obtain that perspective of being happy, seeing the positive takes faith in yourself that you can continue to strive forward. To have that faith within yourself you have to have love for yourself. We must love ourselves in order to reach true genuine happiness. By being reliable to yourself on even the smallest of things you begin to build that callus that makes you even stronger every time you get through a stage of life's road bumps. It's like a video game, when we come across the inevitable villain if we simply get angry and don't learn how to keep striving forward we'll quit and move on. Only to realize via self-reflection that we've built a pattern of quitting when the villain arises or the adversary presents itself. From there we learn we're running from genuine happiness to be fulfilled with temporary enjoyments that don't last. So to achieve genuine happiness become reliable to yourself, especially when the adversary in your next chapter presents itself. When you can count on yourself you have confidence and with confidence, you want to become more confident in a new subject and another one. This builds happiness, which you ascertained from loving yourself. There's quicker ways and things that life offers that allow you to have immediate dopamine releases but for that constant high of happiness, you have the key!
